With the Spring ’16 show in our rear view mirror, we’re already looking forward to Fall, but what a show it was:
With Easter, right smack dab in the middle of the show, and weather that only Texas can delivery…rain, higher than norm temps, winds, and lower than norm chills. Tents serving our food and on site services vendors were flattened, but our great buildings kept everything else at bay so our visitors could shop in about as much comfort as one can during show.

This show we served up a brand new building – 9,600 sq. ft. worth. Called The Stables, it was filled with a mix of vendors who specialized not only in antiques, and antique rugs, but  vintage industrial and automotive repurposed principally as lighting, and a range of new and repurposed furnishings and fixtures that were all hand crafted and high design. The show mix, certainly represents how most people adorn their homes, and how all designers serve their clients.  The reception was great.

In all, The Compound has nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of rentable space. Of that over 16,000 sq. ft. is designated for authentic antiques, while 9,000 sq. ft. is a mix of vintage, repurposed and hand crafted furnishings and furniture.  So, there is a lot of everything to suit a variety of tastes and  styles from fine European furniture and decorative arts to estate jewelry, and so much more.

If you haven’t experienced The Compound, put it on your dance card for the Fall Show. Early Show starts on the 17th of September with a wide range of vendors. The Total Show starts on the 23rd.  Y’all come.
