THE FACILITIES
Multiple venue opportunities exist at The Compound. Each of the five barns has its own character and environment to perfectly accommodate nearly any type of event. While the Peck Barn, and the independently owned Fickle Barn, are currently the only climate-controlled buildings, all the barns have been successfully used for a variety of stunning events such as exhibitions, weddings, and receptions. Each features immediate access to a landscaped courtyard with a bubbling fountain. The courtyards are often used to broaden the gathering space, or for additional tables.

The Peck Barn is an air conditioned building comprised of 6,375 sq. feet within three large areas, each opening up to the other via massive sliding barn doors. A large (20’x20’) lobby makes for an impressive entry. The 30’ high wood ceiling and interior walls create a warm, country perfect environment. The building is appointed with chandeliers, Big Ass brand name fans, and polished concrete floors. The building’s three sections are ideal for planning the space for a variety of events. The building features large restroom facilities and a small catering kitchen is available for event use.

The 9600 sq. ft. Stables barn building is reminiscent in architectural style to a European equestrian center. The facility features concrete floors, soaring 21’ ceilings (31’ in the grand lobby), decorative chandeliers, fans and WiFi. The development plan for this building includes addition of large restroom facilities which will be centrally located and adjacent to the grand lobby.

The Neal Barn is 6105 sq. ft with soaring ceilings and wide open spaces. Massive barn doors open to the outside, and traditional doors open to the adjacent “Grove” with its 40’x40 dance floor that is an ideal expansion area to the barn. The Neal Barn can easily be partitioned to conceal set up or catering equipment and still provide enough space for large groups whether they are seated theater style or at tables.

The first 3,000 sq. ft. section of what will eventually be a 9,000 sq. ft. building features concrete floors, soaring ceiling heights, large barn doors situated front and back, and sides that open to the views all around, chandeliers, and electricity. Two sets of large antique doors are exceptionally interesting building features with their original paint and hardware and have made great backdrops for frequent photo ops.

The Grove is a delightful outdoor space connecting the Neal Barn with The Stables building and Peck Barn. It features a large concrete (40x40) deck and bistro lighting illuminating the beautiful oak trees that grace the area. It is a perfect place for dining or dancing. Sturdy picnic tables with expansive umbrellas can be used (or not). The area has power and water, so it is ideal for setting up both bands and food trailers. The lovely live oak trees, seasonal landscaping, pathways, and a sparkling fountain add to the ambiance, making it a favorite spot for events large and small. The Grove may be rented separately for day or evening events.
